How many materials are on the Source4Style marketplace?
Source4Style is an ever-growing textiles marketplace showcasing thousands of materials from suppliers in over 30 countries. The marketplace is growing every day.
How does Source4Style select its suppliers?
Our international team of sourcing associates search the globe for the leading suppliers of the highest-quality materials. We understand that every fashion collection requires a wide range of materials - from luxe silks to simple nylons. Source4Style allows you to discover the suppliers who offer truly distinctive materials alongside the staples you need to round out your collection.
How can Source4Style make my search for materials easier?
Rather than call suppliers individually, request myriad swatch books or go booth-by-booth at the next tradeshow, Source4Style's search filter allows you to search by the criteria that most impact your sourcing decisions. In addition to sourcing by material type and color, you can also search by availability (in-stock or made-to-order), the suppliers' minimum order requirements and price per yard.
I'm looking for a specific material and I can't find it on Source4Style. Can you still help me?
We will certainly try our best, and we love to hear from designers using our platform. If you have a specific sourcing query and can't find what you're looking for on Source4Style, please email us at search@source4style.com. We'll do our best to locate a supplier in our network who can offer what you're looking for, and encourage them to upload it to Source4Style.

How do you guarantee immediate access to swatches?
We know the importance of having immediate access to swatch samples. That's why each supplier is required to send swatch samples of each material they are showcasing on the marketplace to Source4Style's swatch warehouse. We inventory them in midtown Manhattan and get them into the hands of inquiring designers.
How large are the swatch samples?
Our standard swatch size is 6" x 6".
Can I order swatches from different suppliers in one shipment?
Yes. Because we inventory the swatch samples from every supplier, you can bundle your swatch sampling from all the suppliers on Source4Style. Get samples from over 30 countries in one shipment.
Do I have to be a member of Source4Style to order swatches?
All designers who create a free account on Source4Style can order swatches.
I'm used to getting swatches for free. How come Source4Style charges $4 for each swatch?
Source4Style's swatch sampling service gives you immediate access to swatches from around the globe in one domestic shipment. The $4 per swatch charge covers our cost of ordering swatches from our suppliers and keeping them in inventory. Shipping within the U.S. is also included. Save yourself a trip to a showroom, or having to wait until the next show to see new materials!

I work with suppliers to develop custom materials. Can I do that on Source4Style?
Yes. Through our in-site messaging, buyers can send inquiries regarding custom materials development. The majority of our suppliers are mills with the ability to engage in custom development.
Where does my order ship from?
Your order ships from the distribution center of the supplier whom you're ordering from. You can clearly see the distribution center on the Google map of the material detail page. When you submit your order request, the supplier will confirm the location of the distribution center.
Do prices on Source4Style include shipping, customs & duties?
No. Prices on Source4Style are F.O.B. or free on board. When you submit an order request, the supplier will reply with an estimated cost of shipping. Source4Style can refer designers to freight forwarding and customs brokerage services.
